Bartending License Training Seminar: (11/7/2007)
The mixologist training session has been scheduled for November 7th, at 5:00 p.m. in Johnson 151. This will be a useful quality an employer might want to see on a job application. The Class 12/Mixologist permit allows you to serve alcoholic drinks and work behind a bar. This price is about ten dollars, cheaper than the class offered at Rico's bar. You must be 21 years of age. Please bring 30 dollars and your picture I.D. to partake in this training session.
Fork Lift Training Session: (11/26/2007)
This is a valuable asset to your future employers regardless if you would like to work in a winery or not. Cost total will be around 30 dollars for the training package. Robin who is in the club is qualified to teach the training course. The date, time and place are yet to be determined.
WSU Red Wine Tasting Panel
Be part of an ongoing sensory analysis panel, while improving your palette at the same time This project requires a total of 7 training sessions (each 1 hour) and 4 evaluation sessions (each about 30 minutes) over the course of 3 months. Staring in November and ending in January. Must be 21 years of age. A small, non-monetary incentive will be given at the end of each meeting and an official "WSU Wine Taster" wine glass at the end of the sessions!Please contact Medy Villamor at rvillamor@wsu.edu .
